Umugaba has accumulated over thirteen years of experience in various aspects of physical asset management. With a core expertise in materials and metallurgical engineering, he has worked in product development, process optimization, reliability improvement, quality assurance and control; performed root cause analyses and continuously improves safety practices.
Multilingual, fluent in English, French and Swahili; with an intermediate level in Spanish and Lingala, Umugaba has been involved in projects in more than 15 countries, spread out in Africa, North and South America, Asia and Europe, enabling him to refine his cultural sensitivity, flexibility and versatility.
